| 1913년 네오 르네상스 풍으로 지어진 Peace Palace (Vredespaleis), 평화궁은 헤이그에 위치하며 UN 산하의 국제사법 제판소가 있는 곳으로 널리 알려져 있다.대법정에 새롭게 설치된 LED 조명들은 역사적인 건축물과 조화를 이루며 눈에 띄지 않지만, 그 효과는 매우 강렬하게 보여지고 있다. 유산을 보존하는 의미와 공간의 시각적인 장치로써 샹데리아가 역할을 하고 있다면, 천정에 설치된 LED spotlight는 테이블과 미술품 등에 필요한 밝기를 만들어 내고 있다.천정을 비추고 있는 Parscoop역시 천정면을 밝힘으로써 건축물의 형태를 부각시키는데 큰 역할을 하고 있다.
Built in 1913 in Neo-Renaissance style, the Peace Palace (Vredespaleis) in The Hague is home to the International Court of Justice as the principal judicial organ of the United Nations.Its new LED lighting in the large courtroom integrates subtly with the historic architecture, adding formidable lighting effects. The historic chandeliers were kept for the purpose of heritage conservation and as prominent eye-catchers.The brilliant light on the tables, images and other artwork, however, results from LED spotlights discreetly mounted on the ceiling. Parscoop ceiling washlights also illuminate the ceiling with dynamic effect. |
