| Simbiosi는 David Groppi의 샹들리에에 대한 현대적인 재해석의 결과물이다. 구조적으로 해체된 샹들리에의 요소들은 사용자의 개인적인 심미적인 취향에 따라 다시 조합된다. 광원들은 시각적으로 잘 인지되지 않을만큼 매우 가느다란 선을 통해 전원이 공급되고, 마법같은 효과를 만들어 낸다. 이는 상상할 수 없었던 무게감이 느껴지지 않는 형태의 조명을 만들어 내었다.
광원들 사이를 잇고 있는 빨간색 전선은 서로의 관계를 연결하고 전체 조명을 살아 있게 만들어 주고, 또한 SIMBIOSI의 디자인에서 핵심적인 요소이다. David groppi가 보여주는 시적인 지향점이 디자인적인 언어를 통해 만들어진 결과물이다.

Simbiosi is all about re-thinking the idea of a chandelier. It’s a chandelier that has been de-structured and that can be re-assembled according to the aesthetic taste of the user. It’s a kind of conjuring trick that gives you the possibility of connecting the diodes in series using very weak electric currents so as to have wires that are practically invisible. As a whole, it appears weightless and almost inconceivable. The very thin red wire that connects the light sources and brings them alive, one in relation to the other, is the principal component of this project. It represents the synthesis of our poetic vision. |
